INCOG BioPharma Services Celebrates State-of-the-art Biomanufacturing Facility With Grand Opening Ceremony

INCOG BioPharma hosted an open house to celebrate its grand opening in Fishers, Indiana
FISHERS, Ind., May 19, 2022 — INCOG BioPharma Services, an Indiana-based contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in sterile injectables, recently opened its doors to the public to showcase the company’s state-of-the-art biomanufacturing facility during a grand opening ceremony on Thursday, May 19th.
As guests gathered outside the new 90,000 sq. ft. facility, INCOG CEO and Founder Cory Lewis shared, “Achieving this milestone has been two years in the making for our business and our team. Alongside the installation of our filling line, we’ll now prepare for GMP readiness activities that will ultimately contribute to supporting biopharmaceutical customers with sterile injectable filling. We are pleased to celebrate this moment with our employees and the many external team members who were involved with the construction and readiness of our site and building.”
Guests were able to experience a behind-the-scenes tour of the fill-finish manufacturing facility, meet the experienced team, and learn about drug product handling processes before the organization finalizes the cleanroom areas for production-readiness activities. The facility formulates and fills injectable drugs into vials, syringes, and cartridges. The City of Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness and other Fishers Life Sciences & Innovation Park companies attended and shared the excitement in the successful plans ahead for INCOG, Fishers, and the greater Indiana life sciences community.
Mayor Fadness shared, “It’s been an incredible journey. I’ve been in economic development for 15 years…but every once and a while, you get a project that means so much more than just the initial investment, or the transactional nature of the project. INCOG is that for us.” He further explained, “The scale and magnitude of what’s to come, I think we’re closer to $1B of life sciences investment in the last 24 months in the City of Fishers…that does not happen without INCOG taking a chance on us. This impact is going to be felt for a long time.”
